Aaron Merlo
Aaron is the eldest of Erdutza and Carlos's children. Unlike his siblings he did not inherit inate magical abilities from their mother but his knowledge on the machinations of the sprite world surpasses theirs. Plus, as a cadet in training under the Starlight Court's law enforcement, he's also a more capable fighter.

Appearance
Body
He's about 5'10 in stature, posesses a lean build(still fairly athletic). Aaron has black wavy hair that looks blue under some lighting. It's always messy. His eyes are a dark blue like his mother's.
Clothing
He's usually dressed in simple tshirts and loose jeans when not wearing his school uniform. He has a favorite pink tshirt.
The St Elmo fall uniform consists of a dark red long sleeved button up, black tie and yellow sweatervest, paired with a dark blue blazer, white slacks, black oxford shoes and a matching black belt. The school insignia is embroidered onto the blazers. The spring uniform are some dark blue slacks, yellow short sleeved button up, black tie and black loafers. A red jumper can be paired with it too sometimes.
Personality
He's an overachiever who tries to mask that (and his other insecurities) with a mask of chillness.
Background
Childhood
Aaron had a normal childhood until his father died. Before his death, Carlos told Aaron that he made a contract with a "Benefactor" that helped him marry Erdutza in the first place. Unfortunately, the bargain involved giving them use of his firstborn.
Present
As a student of St. Elmo school for boys, Aaron goes through a rigourous curiculum in his core subjects, while learning of his (Catholic) faith.
Powers and Abilities
Ninjitsu
He learned martial arts from his mother and from being an Izarritzian cadet. His mother's primary preference in close combat is ninjitsu, so Aaron knows mostly that.
Fencing
He's part of his school's fencing club, and is trying to figure out how to incorporate his fencing skills into his training as an Izarritzian cadet.
Knowledge of sprite law in the human realm
Many inhabitants of the starlight court are now in the human realm after the fall of its capital. These days many go back and forth between Alfheim and the human world so it's useful to know both. As a cadet in training, Aaron has to study how the sprite population participate in society both human and nonhuman.
